Jane Iveson is the founder of Hr with confidence and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She is a seasoned HR professional with over 30 years HR experience working as HR Director, Regional HR Manager and Head of HR roles. Jane has worked with a wide range of business sectors including the retail sector, logistics, manufacturing, and charitable organisations. Jane specialises in enabling individuals and teams to maximise their potential and their effectiveness, in order to deliver optimum business results. She works in the private, public and charity sectors.
She possesses astute commercial acumen and extensive front-line, HR experience gained within fast paced unionised and non-unionised environments operating across retail, manufacturing and logistics.
Her specialism stems from deep knowledge and extensive experience of employee relations and employment law backed up with a Masters qualification in employment law and underpinned with a strong set of values around people management. She brings pragmatic consultancy with the ability to balance operational priorities with strategic thinking, clear communication and influencing skills.




Emma Corless is based in Manchester and joined HR with Confidence in January 2020 to broaden our reach to the North West. She is a commercially focused HR generalist with chartered CIPD accreditation, a first class business degree and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management. She has over 13 years HR experience working in HR/Employment Law advisory roles across a range of industries including engineering, FMCG, aerospace, logistics and manufacturing. Like Jane, she has business acumen and substantial front-line HR experience gained within varied and fast paced unionised and non-unionised environments. She has a calm, personable and pragmatic style and her comprehensive background working with business stakeholders in large and small organisations has developed her sound judgement and flexible, yet solution focused, approach to HR challenges. She enjoys to seek out new challenges which allow her develop professionally and personally and in particular she enjoys taking on complex employee relations issues. In previous roles she has gained strategic experience with regards to talent and succession planning and she is a champion of employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives. Emma is passionate about building great relationships and partnering with clients to understand their businesses and help add value through effective HR management.
